## Lernen ist Spielen und Spielen ist Lernen

Irem, Ilke und ihr Vater bauen zusammen mit bunten Bausteinen ein Haus. Sie spielen miteinander und die Kinder lernen dabei ganz viel Verschiedenes. Denn Spielen und Lernen sind keine Gegensätze, sondern weitgehend eins. Spielen ist die Hauptbeschäftigung von kleinen Kindern und kann als elementare und ausgesprochen vielfältige Form des Lernens bezeichnet werden. Beim Hausbauen muss überlegt, ausprobiert und miteinander kommuniziert werden. Welcher Stein passt wo am besten? Wo ist der Stein, der gerade benötigt wird? Was kommt als nächstes? Somit werden Logik, Geschicklichkeit, Koordination, Feinmotorik, räumliches Denken und Kreativität trainiert und das bisher gewonnene Wissen über Häuser umgesetzt und erweitert. Beim Werfen der Bausteine übt Irem ihre Koordination und Reaktionsfähigkeit. Teamwork ist sowohl beim Hausbauen als auch beim Bausteinwerfen und -fangen gefragt. Es muss geklärt werden, wer wo wie baut, wer gerade dran ist mit Werfen oder Fangen und wann man aufpassen muss. Papa wird auch um Hilfe gefragt, wenn es darum geht, den passenden Stein zu finden. Die sozialen Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten von Ilke und Irem werden somit durch das gemeinsame Tun erweitert und aufgebaut. In Spielhandlungen erarbeiten sich Kinder ein Bild von der Welt und von sich selbst. Sie konstruieren ihr Wissen und Sinnverständnis und setzen sich so aktiv mit ihrer Lebenswelt auseinander. Der Vater hat die Bedeutung des gemeinsamen Spielens erkannt. Er teilt die Begeisterung seiner Kinder und nimmt sich ausreichend Zeit für sie. Das stärkt die Beziehung zwischen den Dreien.

## Interessen und Ideen der Kinder aufgreifen

Irem kommt mitten im Hausbauen mit den Bausteinen auf die Idee, einen Stein zu ihrem Vater zu werfen. Sie möchte jetzt Werfen und Fangen spielen. Der Vater geht sofort auf Irems Spielidee ein und macht freudig mit. Er gibt sogar Tipps, wie es besser gelingen kann: „Aber benutz auch deine andere Hand.“ Oder: „Schau, wie ich es auffangen werde!“ Wenn Erwachsene die Interessen und Ideen der Kinder aufgreifen, so nutzen sie die Potenziale, die kleine Kinder von Geburt an mitbringen: Die Begeisterung und die Motivation, etwas Neues zu lernen. Die Neugierde der Kinder ist Motor sämtlicher Bildungs- und Lernprozesse. Nur Lernen, das Freude macht, bleibt bei kleinen Kindern nachhaltig hängen. Und die Freude ist Irem ins Gesicht geschrieben.

## Learning is play, and play is learning

Irem, Ilke and their father are building a house with colorful building blocks. As they play together, the children are learning all kinds of things. Play and learning are not different things: to a large extent they are the same. Play is the main occupation for young children and can be seen as an elementary and extremely multifaceted form of learning. To build the house they must think, try things out and communicate with each other. Which block fits where the best? Where is the block that is needed right now? What comes next? The children are training their logic, dexterity, coordination, fine motor skills, spatial thinking and creativity as well as applying and expanding previously gained knowledge about houses. When she tosses the blocks, Irem is practicing her coordination and fast reactions. Building the house and playing catch with the blocks both require teamwork. Everyone has to decide who will build what and where, whose turn it is to throw or catch, and when they have to be alert and ready. Dad is also asked for his help in finding the right block. This expands and develops Ilke and Irem’s social abilities and skills. As they play, children develop a perception of the world and of themselves. They construct their knowledge and understanding of meaning and interact actively with the world around them. Their father recognizes the importance of playing together. He shares his children’s enthusiasm and takes ample time to be with them. This strengthens the relationship among the three of them.

## Responding to children’s interests and ideas

In the middle of building the house, Irem gets the idea to toss a block to her father. She now wants to play catch. Her father responds immediately to her idea for play and joins in happily. He even gives her tips on how to do it better: “Use your other hand” and “Look how I catch it”. When adults respond to children’s interests and ideas, they make use of the potential that young children bring with them from birth: the enthusiasm and motivation to learn new things. Children’s curiosity is the engine of all learning processes. Only learning that is fun has a long-term impact on young children. Irem’s face is filled with that pleasure.

## Apprendre, c’est jouer. Jouer, c’est apprendre.

Irem, Ilke et leur père construisent ensemble une maison avec des briques de couleurs. Dans le jeu, les enfants apprennent beaucoup de choses différentes. Car jouer et apprendre ne sont pas en contradiction, mais se complètent largement. Principale activité des jeunes enfants, le jeu peut être considéré comme une forme élémentaire et vraiment riche d’apprentissage. Pour construire une maison, il faut réfléchir, essayer, communiquer. Où placer telle ou telle brique? Où se trouve la brique dont on a besoin? Que faire ensuite? Le jeu permet aux enfants d’exercer leur sens de la logique, leur adresse, leur coordination, leur motricité fine, leur perception de l’espace et leur créativité, et ainsi de mettre en œuvre et de développer les connaissances qu’ils ont acquises jusque-là en matière de construction. Lorsqu’elle lance les briques, Irem exerce sa coordination des mouvements et sa réactivité. Que ce soit pour construire la maison ou pour lancer et attraper les briques, il s’agit d’un travail d’équipe. Il faut répondre à de nombreuses questions: qui construit quoi, où et comment? A qui est-ce le tour de lancer, de rattraper? Et quand faut-il faire attention? On demande aussi l’aide de papa pour trouver la brique qui convient. Ces activités communes permettent d’élargir et d’enrichir les aptitudes et compétences sociales d’Ilke et d‘Irem. Dans l’activité ludique, l’enfant élabore une image du monde et de lui-même. Il construit son savoir et sa compréhension du sens, et se confronte par là même activement avec son environnement. Le père a compris l’importance du jeu avec ses enfants. Il partage leur enthousiasme et leur consacre suffisamment de temps. Cela renforce la relation qui existe entre eux trois.

## Se saisir des centres d‘intérêt et des idées des enfants

Alors que tous sont absorbés par la construction de la maison, Irem a l’idée de lancer une brique à son père. Elle veut maintenant jouer à lancer et attraper. Son père répond tout de suite positivement à l’initiative d’Irem et participe avec joie au jeu. Il lui donne même des conseils pour qu’elle s’améliore: «Mais utilise aussi ton autre main.» ou encore «Et regarde comment je l’attrape.» Lorsqu’un adulte se saisit des centres d’intérêt et des idées d’un enfant, il exploite le potentiel présent chez ce dernier dès sa naissance: l’enthousiasme et la motivation à apprendre quelque chose de nouveau. La curiosité de l’enfant est le moteur de tous les processus de formation et d’apprentissage. L‘apprentissage n’est véritablement pérenne que s’il est associé à du plaisir. Et le plaisir se lit sur le visage d’Irem.

## Imparare è giocare e giocare è imparare

Irem, Ilke e il loro papà costruiscono insieme, con mattoni colorati, una casa. Giocano insieme e in questo modo i bambini imparano diverse cose. In questo modo il gioco e l'apprendimento non sono in contrapposizione, ma sostanzialmente un’unica cosa. Giocare è l’occupazione principale dei bambini e può essere considerata la forma basilare e molto diversificata dell’ apprendimento. Quando si tratta di costruire una casa il tutto deve essere pensato, sperimentato e comunicato. Quale mattone va meglio e dove? Dov’è il mattone di cui abbiamo bisogno ora? Qual è il prossimo? In questo modo, logica, abilità, coordinazione, abilità motorie, pensiero spaziale e creatività, vengono allenate e le conoscenze finora acquisite sulle case vengono messe in pratica e ampliate. Lanciando i mattoncini Irem esercita la coordinazione e la sua capacità di reazione. Il lavoro di squadra è richiesto sia nella costruzione di abitazioni, sia nel lancio e nella ricezione dei mattoncini. Deve essere chiarito, chi, dove, come, si costruisce, a chi tocca lanciare o ricevere, e quando bisogna stare attenti. Quando si tratta di trovare il mattoncino giusto è richiesto anche l’aiuto del papà. Grazie all’azione congiunta, le competenze sociali di Ilke e di Irem sono ampliate e strutturate. Nell’azione del gioco, i bambini elaborano un’immagine del mondo e di loro stessi. Affrontando così, attivamente, il mondo che li circonda i bambini costruiscono il loro sapere e capiscono il senso delle cose. Il padre ha riconosciuto l'importanza di giocare insieme. Condivide l’entusiasmo dei suoi figli e si prende il tempo necessario per dedicarsi a loro. Questo rafforza il rapporto tra i tre.

## Raccogliere le idee e gli interessi dei bambini

Nel bel mezzo della costruzione di una casa con i mattoncini, a Irem viene l’idea di lanciarne uno contro suo padre. Ora lei desidera giocare a lanciare e ricevere. Il padre asseconda subito l’idea di Irem e gioca felicemente con lei. Le dà anche consigli su come può riuscirci meglio: “Utilizza anche l’altra tua mano”. Oppure: “Guarda come si fa a prenderlo!” Quando gli adulti accolgono le idee e gli interessi dei bambini, favoriscono lo sviluppo del potenziale che i bambini portano con loro dalla nascita: l'entusiasmo e la motivazione di imparare qualcosa di nuovo. La curiosità dei bambini è il motore di tutti i processi educativi e di apprendimento. Nei bambini piccoli, nel tempo, rimane solo l’apprendimento che è stato vissuto con gioia. E la gioia è scritta sul viso Irem.
