## Regelmässig Kontakt zu anderen Kindern sicherstellen (S. 24)
Neben den erwachsenen Bezugspersonen spielen auch Kinder von Anfang an eine zentrale Rolle beim Erwerb sprachlicher Fähigkeiten. Deshalb ist es wichtig, dass Eltern das regelmässige Zusammensein mit anderen Kindern ermöglichen – sei dies in der Kita, der Spielgruppe oder bei Treffen mit anderen Familien. So können vertrauensvolle Kinderbeziehungen entstehen. Nathan und Lisa besuchen schon eine ganze Weile zusammen die Kita. Sie kennen sich gut und fühlen sich wohl miteinander. Sie haben ähnliche Erfahrungen in Bezug auf den Fernsehkonsum zu Hause gemacht, kennen die gleichen Kindersendungen und teilen ihre Freude am Rollenspiel. Und obwohl sie zu Hause verschiedene Sprachen sprechen, beherrschen beide die gemeinsame Sprache Deutsch so gut, dass sie sich problemlos miteinander verständigen können. Dies sind wichtige Voraussetzungen, um im selbstständigen Miteinander unterschiedliche Ideen und Standpunkte auszuhandeln, das gemeinsame Tun zu koordinieren und Erlebtes im Rollenspiel nachzuspielen. Dabei werden Wünsche geäussert („Ich möchte jetzt fernsehen.“), Anweisungen gegeben („Aber nur drei Jets!“), Gedanken mitgeteilt („Ich muss laut machen, damit wir den Film schauen können.“) und Vorschläge gemacht („Oder ich singe, und du schaust fern.“). So entwickeln die beiden das Spiel immer weiter und nutzen dabei reichhaltige sprachliche Mittel. Ein solcher Austausch auf Augenhöhe ist nur unter Kindern möglich und eröffnet andere sprachliche Möglichkeiten als Gespräche mit Erwachsenen. Im Zusammensein mit anderen Kindern kommunizieren Kinder besonders engagiert und selbstständig. Was für eine Bereicherung für die sprachliche Entwicklung!

## Gespräche unter Kindern ermöglichen, schützen und würdigen (S. 25)
Das Rollenspiel von Lisa und Nathan funktioniert, ohne dass eine erwachsene Person sich aktiv am Geschehen beteiligt. Damit das Zusammensein mit anderen Kindern nicht überfordert, sollte aber immer eine vertraute, erwachsene Person in der Nähe sein. Diese muss abschätzen können, wann sie im Hintergrund bleiben sollte und wann ihre Unterstützung gebraucht wird (z.B. indem sie Kindergespräche in Phasen mit hohem Aushandlungsbedarf moderiert). 

Nathan und Lisa können ihr Rollenspiel in einem geschützten Rahmen entwickeln. Sie haben verschiedene anregende Utensilien zur Verfügung, werden in ihrem Tun nicht gestört und haben genügend Zeit zur Verfügung, um vertieft in die Welt der Phantasie einzutauchen. Es ist Aufgabe der Erwachsenen, solch günstige Rahmenbedingungen und dadurch optimale Voraussetzungen für anregende Gespräche unter Kindern zu schaffen. 


## Ensuring regular contact with other children (p. 22)
Besides adult caregivers, children also play a central role in the acquisition of linguistic skills. Therefore, it is important that parents allow their children to have regular contact with other children – whether this is in a kindergarten, in a playgroup or when meeting other families. In this way, trusting relationships between children will arise. Nathan and Lisa have been attending kindergarten for a long time now. They know each other well and feel comfortable with one another. They have similar experiences with regard to television consumption at home, they know the same children’s programmes and share their enjoyment of role play. And although they speak different languages at home, the two of them speak their mutual language of German so well that they can communicate with each other with ease. These are important prerequisites to being able to discuss different ideas and points of view together independently, coordinating their play and re-enacting what they have experienced in role plays. In the process, they express their wishes (“I would like to watch television now“), give instructions (“However, only three jets!“), communicate their thoughts (“I need to turn it up so that we can watch the film“) and make suggestions (“Or I will sing and you watch television”). In this way, the two of them develop their play and use rich linguistic material in the process. Such an exchange on a level playing field is only possible among children and opens up different linguistic opportunities to those which arise in discussions with adults. Children communicate particularly enthusiastically and independently with other children. What a gold mine for their linguistic development!

## Temporarily supporting and encouraging conversations between children if needed (p. 22)
Lisa and Nathan’s role play functions without an adult taking an active part in their play. However, a trusted adult always needs to be nearby so that time with other children does not become overwhelming. This person must be able to assess whether they should remain in the background and when their support is needed (e.g. by moderating children's discussions in phases when a lot of negotiation is required).

Nathan and Lisa can develop their role play in a safe environment. They have different exciting tools available to them, they are not distracted from what they are doing, and they have sufficient time to immerse themselves in the world of fantasy. It is the role of adults to create such favourable conditions and thus optimum prerequisites for stimulating discussions among children. 


## Assurer un contact régulier avec d’autres enfants (p. 24)
En plus des adultes de référence, les autres enfants aussi jouent, dès le début, un rôle central dans l’apprentissage de la langue. C’est pourquoi il est important que les parents facilitent les rencontres régulières avec d’autres enfants, que ce soit à la crèche, dans un groupe de jeu ou avec d’autres familles. Ils peuvent ainsi établir des relations de confiance avec d’autres enfants. Nathan et Lisa vont depuis quelque temps déjà ensemble à la crèche. Ils se connaissent bien et sont à l’aise l’un avec l’autre. À la maison, ils regardent tous deux la télévision, ils connaissent les mêmes émissions pour enfants et partagent la même joie pour le jeu de rôle. Bien qu’ils parlent des langues différentes à la maison, ils maîtrisent les deux la langue commune qu’est l’allemand et se comprennent donc parfaitement. Ce sont des conditions indispensables pour échanger de manière autonome des idées et des points de vue, coordonner les actions communes et intégrer le vécu dans un jeu de rôle. Des souhaits sont exprimés (« Je veux regarder la télé. »), des directives sont données (« Mais seulement 3 Jets. »), des pensées sont partagées (« Je mets un peu plus fort pour mieux entendre. ») et des propositions sont faites (« Ou je chante et toi, tu regardes la télé. »). Les deux poursuivent le jeu et utilisent un langage riche. Un tel échange sur un pied d'égalité est uniquement possible entre enfants et leur ouvre d’autres possibilités linguistiques que lors des conversations avec des adultes. Entre eux, les enfants communiquent de manière très engagée et autonome. Quel enrichissement linguistique !

## Favoriser, protéger et valoriser les conversations entre enfants (p. 25)
Le jeu de rôle entre Lisa et Nathan fonctionne sans la participation d’un adulte. Pour que les enfants ne soient pas dépassés, une personne de confiance devrait toujours se tenir à proximité. Celle-ci doit être en mesure d’évaluer quand il est judicieux de rester en retrait et quand son aide est requise, par exemple en intervenant dans les conversations d’enfants en phase de négociation.

Nathan et Lisa peuvent élaborer leur jeu de rôle dans un cadre familier. Ils ont différents objets à disposition, ne sont pas dérangés dans leur activité et disposent de suffisamment de temps pour plonger dans leur univers imaginaire. C’est le rôle des adultes de créer des conditions-cadres avantageuses et donc propices à générer des conversations animées entre les enfants. 



## Garantire il contatto regolare con gli altri bambini (pag. 24)
Oltre agli adulti di riferimento, anche i bambini rivestono sin dal principio un ruolo centrale nell’acquisizione delle capacità linguistiche. Pertanto è importante che i genitori consentano il contatto regolare con altri bambini – all’asilo, nel gruppo di gioco o incontrando altre famiglie. In questo modo si possono instaurare tra i bambini relazioni basate sulla fiducia. Nathan e Lisa frequentano già da un po’ lo stesso asilo nido. Si conoscono bene e si trovano bene insieme. Hanno accumulato esperienze simili in relazione all’utilizzo del televisore a casa, conoscono le stesse trasmissioni per bambini e si divertono nei giochi di ruolo. E sebbene a casa parlino lingue diverse, hanno una padronanza così buona del tedesco, la lingua comune, che riescono a capirsi l’un l’altra senza problemi. Questi sono presupposti importanti per gestire idee e opinioni diverse nell’interazione autonoma, coordinare l’attività comune e riprodurre il proprio vissuto nel gioco di ruolo. In tale contesto vengono espressi desideri (“Vorrei vedere la TV”), date istruzioni (“Ma solo 3 jet!”), comunicati pensieri (“Devo alzare il volume per poter vedere il film.”) e fatte proposte (“Oppure io canto e tu guardi la TV.”). In questo modo i due bambini sviluppano ulteriormente il gioco utilizzando mezzi linguistici molto ricchi. Uno scambio tra pari di questo tipo è possibile solo tra bambini e offre possibilità linguistiche diverse rispetto alle conversazioni con gli adulti. Nell’interazione con i coetanei i bambini comunicano in modo particolarmente impegnato e autonomo. Un vero arricchimento per lo sviluppo linguistico!

## Consentire, tutelare e apprezzare le conversazioni tra bambini (pag. 25)
Il gioco di ruolo di Lisa e Nathan funziona senza la partecipazione attiva di un adulto. Affinché l’interazione con altri bambini non sia troppo impegnativa, dovrebbe tuttavia esserci sempre un adulto di fiducia nelle vicinanze, che deve saper valutare quando restare sullo sfondo e quando è richiesto il suo intervento (ad es. per moderare la conversazione tra bambini nel caso in cui diventi difficile da gestire).

Nathan e Lisa possono sviluppare il loro gioco di ruolo in un contesto protetto. Hanno a disposizione diversi strumenti stimolanti, non vengono disturbati nella loro attività e hanno tempo a sufficienza per immergersi a fondo nel mondo della fantasia. È compito degli adulti creare queste condizioni favorevoli e quindi i presupposti ottimali per lo sviluppo di conversazioni stimolanti tra bambini.
