## Herausforderungen

Malou hat von der Spielgruppenleiterin den Schlüssel für das Gartenhäuschen bekommen. Tatsächlich ist es für sie nicht ganz so einfach, das Tor aufzuschliessen. Ein Schlüsselanhänger hängt am Schlüssel, der das Drehen erschwert. Das Schloss ist so weit oben, dass sich Malou auf die Zehen stellen muss, um heranzukommen. Und dann sind da noch die Kinder, die darauf warten, dass das Tor endlich aufgeht und die ersehnten Spielsachen herausgeholt werden können. Doch das alles bringt Malou nicht von ihrem Vorhaben ab. Auch die Hilfe der anderen Kinder möchte sie nicht. Ganz alleine will sie es schaffen und verteidigt den Schlüssel gegenüber den anderen. Und sie weiss, dass sie es schaffen kann, wenn sie es hartnäckig versucht. Mit Ausdauer und viel Durchsetzungsvermögen gelingt es ihr, das Tor ganz alleine zu öffnen. Malou hat ein Erfolgserlebnis. Dies stärkt sie in ihrem Selbstvertrauen und gibt ihr die Zuversicht, die sie braucht, um die nächsten Lerngelegenheiten ebenso selbstbewusst anzunehmen.

## Selbstvertrauen stärken

Heute darf Malou das Tor öffnen, damit die Kinder den Zutritt zu den Spielsachen bekommen. Die Spielgruppenleiterin schenkt Malou Vertrauen und traut ihr zu, das Tor zu öffnen. Sie kennt Malou gut und kann Malous Können einschätzen. Sie übergibt dem Mädchen diese Aufgabe, weil sie davon ausgeht, dass es sie ganz alleine bewältigen kann, ohne dabei überfordert zu sein. Das Vertrauen der Spielgruppenleiterin trägt dazu bei, dass auch Malou selbst ihren Fähigkeiten traut und die Herausforderung selbstbewusst annimmt.

## Gemeinschaftliches Lernen

Als Malou gerade dabei ist, das Tor aufzuschliessen, kommen die anderen Kinder angerannt. Zuerst warten sie geduldig. Doch Tim und Nils merken schnell, dass das Aufschliessen des Tores Malou Mühe bereitet, und bieten ihre Hilfe an. Im Zusammensein mit anderen haben die Kinder gelernt, dass es schön ist, wenn man jemand anderem helfen kann. Und dass es ebenso schön ist, wenn jemand einem selbst hilft, wenn es denn schwierig wird. Doch Malou möchte dieses Mal die gut gemeinte Hilfe von Nils und Tim nicht annehmen. Sie will es alleine schaffen. Die Kinder verstehen Malous abwehrendes Verhalten und respektieren ihren Willen. Geduldig warten sie weiter, bis das Tor endlich offen ist. Tim kann sich gut vorstellen, dass diese Aufgabe nicht so einfach war. Er freut sich mit Malou über ihren Erfolg und sagt: „Jetzt hast du es geschafft.“ Diese anerkennenden Worte bekräftigen Malous Erfolgserlebnis.

Dass die Kinder in dieser Situation so viel soziale Kompetenz und Einfühlungsvermögen zeigen, ist Resultat von unzähligen gelungenen und misslungenen Interaktionen, die sie bisher erlebt haben. Durch das Zusammensein in der Gruppe und mit der guten Begleitung durch die Spielgruppenleiterin haben die Kinder gelernt, Probleme gemeinsam zu lösen, zu kooperieren und die Perspektive von anderen einzunehmen.

## Challenges

The play group teacher has given Malou the key to the garden shed. It is really not very easy for her to unlock the door. There is a key chain pendant that makes it hard to turn the key. And the keyhole is so high up that Malou has to stand on tiptoe to reach it. And then there are the other children, who are waiting for the door to finally open so that they can get the toys that they want. But none of this deters Malou from her goal. She does not want any help from the other children. She wants to do this by herself, so she fends off the others. And she knows that she can do it if she tries hard. With persistence and a lot of determination, she succeeds in unlocking the door all by herself. Malou’s experience of success strengthens her self-confidence and gives her the assurance that she needs to tackle the next learning opportunities with confidence in herself.

## Fostering self-confidence

Today Malou is allowed to unlock the garden shed so that children can access their outdoor toys. The play group teacher has faith in Malou and believes that she can unlock the door. She knows Malou well and can judge what she is able to do. She gives Malou this task because she thinks that Malou can do it all by herself without being overwhelmed. The play group teacher’s trust in her contributes to Malou’s confidence in her own abilities and her willingness to tackle the challenge with self-confidence.

## Learning together

As Malou starts to unlock the door, the other children come running. They wait patiently at first. But Tim and Nils quickly notice that Malou is having trouble with the key, and they offer to help. By being together with others, the children have learned that it is nice to give help to others and that it is just as nice when you receive help from others when things get difficult. But this time Malou does not want to accept Tim and Nils’ well-meant offer. She wants to do this by herself. The children understand her behavior when she fends them off, and they respect her wishes. They wait patiently until the door is finally opened. Tim can well imagine that this task was not very easy. He is shares Malou’s delight in her success and says, “You did it!” His recognition of her success reinforces Malou’s feeling of achievement.

That these children show so much social competency and empathy in this situation is the result of them having experienced a great many successful and unsuccessful interactions up to now. Through being together in a group and with the good supervision of their play group teacher, the children have learned to solve problems together, to cooperate and to look at things from another person’s perspective.

## Défis

La responsable du groupe de jeu a confié à Malou la clé de la cabane de jardin. En fait, ce n’est pas si facile pour la petite fille d’ouvrir le portail. La clé est attachée à un porte-clés qui gêne sa rotation. La serrure est placée si haut que Malou est obligée de se mettre sur la pointe des pieds pour l’atteindre. Et puis il y a aussi les autres enfants qui attendent que le portail s’ouvre pour pouvoir accéder aux jouets tant désirés. Mais cela ne distrait pas Malou de la tâche qu’elle s’est fixée. Elle ne veut pas non plus se faire aider par les autres. Elle veut le faire toute seule et défend la clé contre les autres. Et elle sait qu’elle peut y arriver si elle fait preuve de suffisamment de ténacité. En étant persévérante et avec beaucoup de force de volonté, elle finit par arriver à ouvrir le portail toute seule. Malou éprouve un sentiment de réussite. Cela la renforce dans sa confiance en elle-même et lui donne l’assurance dont elle a besoin pour aborder la prochaine occasion d’apprentissage avec tout autant de force.

## Renforcer la confiance en soi

Aujourd’hui, Malou a reçu l’autorisation d’ouvrir le portail pour que les enfants puissent accéder aux jouets. La responsable du groupe de jeu fait confiance en Malou et la sait capable d’ouvrir le portail. Elle connaît bien Malou et sait évaluer ses capacités. Elle confie à la petite fille cette tâche car elle sait que celle-ci saura l’accomplir toute seule et ne sera pas dépassée par la difficulté. La confiance qu’elle place en elle donne aussi à Malou confiance dans ses aptitudes et lui permet d’aborder le défi en étant consciente de sa valeur personnelle.

## Apprendre ensemble

Malou est en train d’essayer d’ouvrir le portail, et les autres enfants arrivent en courant. Ils attendent d’abord patiemment. Mais Tim et Nils se rendent vite compte qu’elle a des difficultés et lui proposent de l’aider. Les enfants ont appris, avec l’habitude d’être en groupe, que c’est une bonne chose d’aider les autres. Et que c’est aussi une bonne chose quand les autres vous aident quand cela devient difficile. Mais cette fois, Malou n’accepte pas l’aide offerte avec bienveillance par Nils et Tim. Elle veut le faire toute seule. Les enfants comprennent son refus et le respectent. Ils continuent d’attendre patiemment que le portail s’ouvre. Tim peut tout à fait imaginer que ce n’est pas une chose facile. Il partage la joie de Malou quand elle a réussi et lui dit: «Ça y est, tu as réussi!» Ces paroles confortent Malou dans son sentiment de réussite.

Le fait que les enfants fassent preuve dans cette situation d’autant de compétences sociales et d’empathie est le résultat d’innombrables interactions, réussies et ratées, dont ils ont pu faire l’expérience jusqu’à maintenant. En étant ensemble dans le groupe et grâce à l’accompagnement assuré par la responsable, ils ont appris à résoudre les problèmes ensemble, à coopérer et à prendre en compte le point de vue des autres.

## Sfide

Malou ha ricevuto dalla responsabile del gruppo ludico la chiave della casetta-ripostiglio in giardino. Evidentemente, per Malou, non è così facile aprire la porta. Un portachiavi appeso alla chiave complica l’operazione del far girare la chiave nella toppa. La serratura è talmente in alto che, per arrivarci, Malou deve mettersi sulla punta dei piedi. Ci sono poi i bambini che aspettano il momento di veder finalmente aperta la porta per poter portar fuori i giochi. Tutto ciò non distoglie Malou dal voler raggiungere lo scopo. Non vuole l’aiuto degli altri bambini. E’ sua intenzione riuscire da sola e quindi difende la chiave dagli altri bambini. Sa che può riuscire se insiste con ostinazione nel suo intento. Con molta perseveranza, e con la capacità di imporsi, riesce ad aprire da sola la porta. Malou ha vissuto un’esperienza di successo. Tutto ciò rafforza la fiducia in se stessa e la capacità di accogliere, in modo consapevole e positivo, le prossime occasioni di apprendimento.

## Rafforzare la fiducia in se stessi

Oggi Malou può aprire la porta per consentire ai bambini l’accesso ai giochi. La responsabile del gruppo ludico dà fiducia a Malou e crede nella sua capacità di aprire la porta. La responsabile conosce bene la bambina ed è in grado di valutare le sue potenzialità. Le affida questo compito perché sa che è in grado di affrontarlo da sola senza sentirsi caricata di un onere superiore alle sue forze. La fiducia della responsabile del gruppo ludico contribuisce a mettere in condizione Malou di affrontare la prova in modo consapevole.

## Apprendimento collettivo

Nel momento in cui Malou sta per aprire la porta arrivano, correndo, gli altri bambini. In un primo momento aspettano con pazienza. Tim e Nils si accorgono presto che Malou ha difficoltà nell’aprire la porta e le offrono il loro aiuto. Attraverso lo stare insieme hanno imparato che è bello aiutare un altro. Hanno anche imparato a capire che è bello sentirsi aiutati quando si ha bisogno. Tuttavia, questa volta, Malou non accetta di farsi aiutare da Nils e Tim. I bambini capiscono l’atteggiamento difensivo di Malou e rispettano la sua volontà. Aspettano con pazienza fino a quando la porta, finalmente, si apre. Tim è in grado di capire che un compito simile non deve essere stato facile. Il successo di Malou gli fa piacere e dice: “Adesso ce l’hai fatta”. Queste parole incoraggianti consolidano in Malou il sentimento di successo.

Il fatto che i bambini siano in grado di manifestare un tale grado di competenza sociale e di capacità di immedesimazione nell’altro, è il risultato di innumerevoli vissuti e di interazioni riuscite e non riuscite. E’ attraverso lo stare insieme e con l’accompagnamento della responsabile del gruppo ludico che i bambini hanno imparato a risolvere insieme i problemi, a cooperare e ad adottare il punto di vista dell’altro.
